Cheri is the owner and has had the business since October of 1980. She purchased the business from the previous owner after working for her for just over a year. The salon was originally on Market Street for 22 years. In February of 2002 Cheri and her husband purchased the building where the salon is located now, 138 S 2nd St. Bangor, Pa.. Dennis, Cheri's husband, is a contractor and did all the remodeling to turn it from the Dr's office it was into the salon it is now. On December 1st 2002 they opened the new location. There are 2 stylists at Your Family Salon. Cheri Cross, herself and Jaime Greene, who has been a stylist there since December 1993. They get along great and work very well together in a friendly , happy environment. There is a large retail section of products available for purchase also for your hair care needs. They can also give you access to their online store so you can view and purchase other products that they don't stock.
